Unlike many of today's alcohol-soluble-only polymers, PVP/VA is water soluble and forms clear solutions. Because no alcohol is needed, you can formulate ultra-low VOC products.
Typical use rates are 1-10%, most usually in the 3-5% range. The more PVP/VA added, the more hold and control.
